BioThis journal is mostly intended to document my thoughts on writing, along with whatever minutia of my daily life or other interests I feel motivated to include. Depending on the season, I may babble a lot about my various hobbies, particularly LARPing, gardening, and cooking. I welcome anyone who chooses to read! Feel free to drop me a note or friend me; I am always curious to learn who might be out there reading this.
My first novel, a fantasy for young readers titled Fortune's Folly will be out April 14, 2009, from Henry Holt and Company.
A second novel, The Magical Misadventures of Prunella Bogthistle is scheduled for publication in Spring 2010, by the same.
I maintain a (sporadically updated) separate journal for my rambles about food and travel, and to keep my recipes collected in one place.
